Benefits:
The cash register sceens are nice and make it easy for training. The register module acts like a cash register, and most can be trained in fifteen minutes in all basic operations. The over all features are a draw for even the smallest of stores. Using scales was easy and had no isses. The reporting features allow to get pretty much any report needed. Favorite feature is the food service module. This allows for selling pizza, subs, coffee and pretty much anything in a fast food restuarant. It also allows for call ahead orders and delivery. This feature was one of the main features in our decision to use StoreTender.
Drawbacks:
Cloud based is needed. As almost all point of sale software is going cloud based. StoreTender needs to address this. As it can be hard to add registers and other stores into a corporate headquarters type solutions. Should have all stores connected in a cloud based solutions. Its a major concern for companies with multiple locations.
In sum:
Its a good software for the money. Its on the cheaper side, but you do have some issues to look at. One being the lack of cloud. Multistore functioning is just not there yet. It has great features and we have used many different hardware setups with it. It does take time to learn the back-office module and the hardware setup, and compatibility. We enjoy the ease of use of the register module and the layout. Very easy to use the food service module along with the register. So staff can take orders for food from the general sales register.
