There should also be an option in which you can provide request (T24) to ALTOVA and you can give your xsl file and check what response xml will look like. This will save a lot of time as we have to reset the T24 application layer each time we make any changes to transformation file.

Rather than typing cross-reference information into a form, you can now upload cross-reference data for example from an Excel spreadsheet directly into the form. Another new feature in version 2020r2 is the capability for Excel output to update existing documents.

Overall MapForce is a great tool to convert data from one format to another, with support for many common file formats. In the three years we have used the software we set up multiple transformations using MapForce and automated them with the use of Altova's FlowForce Server. Once the initial debugging of the product is done, the processes run nicely without interruption.

Benefits:

Easy to use and the company really supports it users

Drawbacks:

Haven't found any yet. Product seems to do what I purchased it for.
