I work at France Televisions group, the French public national television broadcaster, where we have been using Phraseanet since 2011. Alchemy launched the very first hosting photo gallery platform for TV channels in France. Phraseanet allows us to provide the press and media all the photos used to promote the programs. After the success of this platform for the management of our photo fund, we turned naturally to Phraseanet to manage our news (trailers, press releases, press kits) but also all our video content (preview of our entire programs before sending to the media). France Televisions group has specific needs for each of its channels (France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5, France O) and this DAM platform provides us with the flexibility and responsiveness needed to best match the identity of each channel. About the team, I want to say that the customer service is great. The technical support is always available to answer any requests our teams may have. Here are my pros and cons: +Great team spirit, customer service +High availability platform +Intuitive interface +Lots of features +Open Source +Not expensive -Small team I would like to add that we are really looking forward to the next major release of Phraseanet that we will get in a few weeks. Lots of features we were waiting for, great evolution and enhancements of the software. Overall, I would highly recommend Phraseanet to any organization looking for a DAM system.

It is also one of the single solution for photographers and agencies to ingest iptc metadata smartly in the files themselves. The speed and the advanced search is awesome even with thousands of assets. Productivity, flexibility make Phraseanet a solution for small and medium company. Above all it is open source, means a fast ROI. Last thing, the team is awesome.

So easy to get your images and logos inside PPT. I, and my colleagues, save soo much time browsing around our mutual Dropbox folder looking for the right logo or pic. Pickit reminds me how easy it should have been all this time.

Pickit just makes it easier for us to consolidate our marketing material for the web, social media, content marketing and print, and reduces the amount of time wasted trying to get people access to the right content, so it saves us a bunch of time and makes life simpler for everyone at the marketing Dept.
