«Painful to get up and running»

Benefits:

The promise of what it could be - we like the concept and the ability to make the documents appear embedded in our application so that it feels seamless

Drawbacks:

The installation and configuration is painful and has multiple moving parts. This would be ok when using the Cloud version because Accusoft manage parts of it, but if you go 'on-premise' then expect a world of pain. The issue for European clients is that Accusoft took a decision not to create a cloud based in the EU that would be compliant with European GDPR regulations. Consequently we are forced to run and manage our own platform which we still haven't got up and running after several attempts

In sum:

The guys are keen to help when asked and were very responsive during the sales-cycle but it's difficult as a European timezone client with developers in Asia because support does not come online until much later in the day
