We have used this software since we moved to Banner in 2012 and would not function without it. We have several forms that utilize the flexibility of Formfusion. Anything that my administration has asked us to do related to Form output has been easily handle with this product. Again, I would not want to function without it.

We have been using formfusion for approx. 15 years. It was an easy implementation and updates/patches are a breeze to put in. We have 13 institutions in our system, I can replicate templates very quickly and brand each one separately, which my customers love. eVisions and the customer base share new templates frequently that can be downloaded and changed so that you do not always have to start with a blank screen. eVisions supplies the yearly Tax templates with instructions on use every year, so there is no guess work involved. I love the drag and drop style and the ease of customization that is allowed with every new template you want to create. Their customer service is one of the best services I have ever used, they not only get back to with hours, but are willing to have webex meetings to help you solve issues, not like some other companies that only exchange many emails.

My biggest pain point with the software is the when our ERP system does an upgrade to shell script that runs the jobs, it is up to the customer to edit that script. evisions is partnered with the erp system, there should be a meeting of the minds and include the needed code into the update shell script so that customers do not need to play with delivered code.

I was able to create one template for printing transcripts, then able to customize it 13 times for branding, signatures and paper stock, thus reducing the cost of stylized paper. For our payroll department, I created a leave earned/taken sheet that covers all of our leave types so that the data imputer has all the information needed for each person.

It is an excellent document enhancement and distribution solution. It integrates with Maps in the backend which is also very user friendly and it is a great plus if you are already using Argos and MAPS. It integrates with Banner. There is a learning curve but it isn't too bad. Another plus is the Evisions Support site and staff. They are excellent in resolving the issues. They have a rich online library of resources. They have a co-op site where all the institutions can submit their ideas and proof of concept, the co-op site is pretty cool. Some of the ideas were as simple as plug and play kind of a deal. But many solutions have to be adjusted based on your institutions set up and processes. It integrates with CAS/Single sign on.

I really liked the security and functionality of this product. We run clinical research trials, and with that comes confidential information. Some sponsors will send us safety reports in the mail, but more and more, sponsors are using different portals. For one sponsor, IntraLinks is who they use, and it's great! The document that my principal investigator needs to review is emailed to us. I get a copy of this email and my boss does as well. We each have a lot in to view the document. This is great because we can make sure that only people who need to see it do - he reviews and signs the document and I file that document with our regulatory records. I also like that we can go back and look at old safety reports. We can make sure that we've reviewed all the reports to date, or if we need to reprint information it's always there and easily accessible.

The only con is that we get a lot of emails. I receive one email about the document when it's posted, but my boss receives a total of 3 per documen... Read more

The only con is that we get a lot of emails. I receive one email about the document when it's posted, but my boss receives a total of 3 per document. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or a full proof way of making sure the document is reviewed. Either way it seems a little excessive. However, as someone in regulatory I would rather have 3 copies then no copies!

I really like IntraLinks. I work with a lot of different sponsors and they all have different ways of administering safety reports to clinical research sites. I like that we get email notifications and can reference the reports later. Sometimes sponsors will send reports via regular mail, and the only issue with that is that we have no way to back up when that report was received. With IntraLinks, if we have a report missing, we can look back and say, "this report was definitely sent to us on this date," and that's really important for us.

Benefits:

Able to easily organize multiple documents across studies. Able to send secure documents through this platform.

Drawbacks:

I found it difficult to navigate in some instances and slows me down. I would like it to be more user friendly.

Easy to set up users, provide/revoke access, maintain the portal and alerting users. It has some useful features like those.

Drawbacks:

Oftentimes, the program freezes and times out and I have to re-submit the documents. This can be frustrating as i have to redo the process

It is a good source to transmit secured documentation, but the connectivity issues make it a frustrating experience at times.
