Almanac is like Notion, but fast, and with their git-like branch features, it's built for all users to feel empowered to suggest changes to company documentation.

Drawbacks:

I can't complain. The team is continuing to ship meaningful improvements every couple of weeks, and that's all I can ask for.

Summary:

I believe every remote, distributed team should adopt Almanac. It makes asynchronous work meaningfully simpler.

Fast, easy to use, and appropriately scoped as a document collaboration and knowledge base. Git style version control really makes "asynchronous collaboration" on business processes possible.

Drawbacks:

It's early days and there are still some edges of the software that need improvement
