We can assign emails internally, share inboxes and disposition emails as open, pending, or closed - chat about 'tickets' in the Hiver side bar, and step in to assist on existing email chains without having to forward emails to different departments or members across the team.

It integrates smoothly with G Suite, so are you already comfortable with Gmail, then you cannot miss Hiver!

We tried several providers of Shared Inboxes and we ended up staying with Hiver for the solely reason that they choose to focus on the core aspects of mail management and not various other features, that businesses at our size usually use other Sales or Project services for. We have used Hiver for more than a year now and it has so far saved us from hundreds of hours by providing us with a great overview and management of all incoming mails/task to be taken care of. The service is not the cheapest on the market, but it's absolutely worth every penny. Hiver has given us the opportunity to work more effective, close deals faster, collaborate better resulting in overall higher turnover since we started using the tool. It integrates smoothly with G Suite and we would highly recommend this tool for any business.

Hiver features initially seemed great. I was eager to make use of their promised benefits. Unfortunately, Hiver completely halted our operations for over a week and lost us a great deal of business. Throughout it all, their team was unapologetic and dismissive of the role that Hiver had in derailing our email communications with clients. Rather than seeing this as an opportunity to resolve and repair clear technical defects, they blatanly blew off our repeated requests for support.

I tested out many collaborative email tools before deciding to go with Hiver. I was impressed by the intuitive design, canned response functionality and mobile app. Unfortunately, several days after installing the tool, we began to suspect that our clients were not receiving our emails consistently. I reached out to Hiver several times over the course of a few days and received no response. This lapse in email functionality coincided with some significant and favorable press coverage - our site traffic was nearly double what it normally was - and yet we went for 10 entire days without a single new client at a time when we would normally have 10-15 new clients typically. I tried for an entire week to engage help from the Hiver team. They insisted - and continue to insist- that their tool does not impact email sending functionality. I would beg to differ. As soon as I uninstalled Hiver, my communications with clients returned to normal. On a final note, to top this off, my team and I are 3 women. When we called Hiver's India-based support team, they were loudy making obvious, derogotary remarks about our being female and unable to understand their tool - calling us 'Dumb Blondes'. Highly inept and unprofessional team. Also worst nightmare for a growing startup!

You can leave notes to your colleagues in an email and they can review your response without adding it in the email. You can also leave notes for yourself in an email. The system is easy to use and if you need a shared email box and a multiple-person team to manage support inbox then hiver is your best choice.

Mailster provides unique functionality that you can't find anywhere else. Internal mailing lists are common, and CMS websites are common. But the ability to bring the two together is a synergy that we feel every group could and should use. For trade groups like ours, it changes the way the group functions and adds significant value to membership. Mailster has made our trade group of lawyers more of a "must" to join because of its ability to preserve emailed information in the CMS database for later search and use. That database grows in value by the day. In addition, Mailster is flexible and adds functionality we hadn't considered. The ability to have small mailing lists to collaborate on projects is valuable. Those who want to continue to use Mailman mailing lists can send emails to Mailster to preserve that information on the CMS. In Joomla, integration with the Facebook-like Community Builder brings even tighter integration of the entire membership. Mailster's optional digests are preferable to some members. And the ability to have information sent to a CMS article has a variety of uses. Finally, Mailster is a mature product that has been around for years, with outstanding support. We don't know how many websites have incorporated Mailster, but it isn't enough. In our view, organizations who haven't yet discovered Mailster are missing a key tool to add value to their memberships and missions.

We have used Mailster with Joomla for years, and are now excited to have it available in Wordpress. The reason it's so critical is its ability to bring email and a website together into a cohesive, user-friendly information ecosystem. Its primary purpose is to provide flexible mailing lists. Critically, these are two-way ' anyone belonging to the list who sends an email to the list's mailing address sends it to everyone else on the list. It has the same functionality as an internal corporate or group listserve, or the standalone open-source solution called 'Mailman'. But it greatly improves on the capabilities of either one by integrating that functionality within an existing Joomla or Wordpress CMS-based website. Our usage scenario: a trade group of 150 lawyers had used a Mailman mailing list for years and was reasonably happy with it, but it was separate from their website. The user lists didn't correspond, and a lot of valuable information was shared on Mailman that didn't make it to their website. That's a critical loss for a group that is trying to build a single, searchable database of information that grows in value over time. Mailster changes all that. It duplicates the capability of Mailman as a closed listserve and adds many more extremely useful features: 1. It integrates tightly with the user base of the CMS in flexible ways, so you only have one database of users. 2. You can add users, permanently or temporarily, to a mailing list who may not possess registered access to the website. 3. You can create as many mailing lists as you want, all from the same interface. This is great for subgroups of CMS users who might be collaborating on a project. 4. The archives are immediately available on the front and back ends, include attachments, and are searchable both with a Mailster search and a Joomla or Wordpress full-site search. 5. Archives for multiple mailing lists can all be set up to be viewed on the website, each with their own menu item or all combined. 6. There is an option for daily, weekly or monthly digests. 7. The 'ultimate' edition of Mailster can flexibly display emails in an individual CMS article automatically. We think of Mailster as a flexible bridge between (1) the email interface that everyone is used to and (2) your website, a group's listserve, specialized mailing lists, and the searchable content of the website itself. It's an indispensable tool. We strongly recommend this product.

I had to do paperwork to get approval from my organization to purchase a component from a non-United States address. When I first started I remember it was confusing trying to figure out how all the pieces worked together. I had to create new email accounts, figure out which settings to use (test those settings), and there was a bit of a learning curve. But for a tool this powerful and with so many options, that's not surprising.

Our organization purchased Mailster because it was the only game in town if you wanted to create mailing lists on a Joomla website. Our staff use our mailing lists frequently and it's one of our core features for our staff site that people can review archives of previous conversations on the mailing list. The setup did take some work, however the website documentation was helpful, and once I went through the instructions it didn't take much time to setup the mailing lists. I liked the features that allowed us to test our connection. When I had questions or needed help, support from Mailster was quick and they were able to fix any problems we ran across. I would recommend Mailster to anyone that needed to run mailing lists for their website users.
