Benefits:
Dash boards & mass upload facility are good features of this facility which will allow the user department to reduce the work.
Drawbacks:
Functionality & reporting formats are not customization friendly to the individual business requirements from the user end.
In sum:
Solution to maintain FA with less manual intervention & control over historical data. We can maintain the history of the asset in the form of documents(viz., Invoice & Pictures)

Benefits:
The front end of the software not just captures almost all asset data but also is extremely user-friendly. Being from a non-finance background, it was great to be able to use this software with ease.
Drawbacks:
The software is unable to give us the functionality to easily change asset assigned user. The process is a long drawn one with the upload of new templates each time we have an asset move.

The interface is very nice. Workflow is available which can be configured as per your requirement. Many reports are available for Assets. User wise authorization can be provided. Overall we are happy with the product. Audit via an Android app is nice. We can record the Latitude, Longitude, and picture of the asset.
Drawbacks:
The dashboard is very simple. A dynamic dashboard would have been great. The configuration of the Asset code generation is limited. It can be much more flexible. Printing of barcode stickers from the application is very difficult. We are using 3rd party utility to print barcode stickers. A custom report generation utility could be great.
In sum:
We are able to maintain a record of 20,000 assets at 1200+ locations and now have a single source of truth. Movement of assets between locations can be tracked. We barcoded all the assets and the best part is Audit of assets which helps to prevent theft and misuse.

Dash Board, The way how the data is displayed, The user friendliness.
Drawbacks:
Data Entry is a time consuming job in this software, They can even improve the dash board with real time data like number of calls raised and attended and closed.
In sum:
It is helping me out with the asset management, we are managing more than 2500 assets in more than 32 different locations with this software.

Benefits:
The Dashboard which displays the breakup of the assets for each department, building, location. Easy to start for a new member as well.
Drawbacks:
The software installation/activation was completed using a internet connection initially and the team has given a feedback during the next update that the same internet connection should be used for upgrading else it will not work, this should be sorted out so that any internet connection should be working for upgrade.

The best part about the Tracet Fixed Assets software is you can use this FAR without extra support from the consultant. The support staff is very cooperating and just a call away. They ensure that the issue is sorted asap. They also keep on updating with the new software.
Drawbacks:
I think we can make the product more adjustable. Some columns I feel are irrelevant and it should provide the customizable option to the user to remove unnecessary colums.

With lots of Cons however this software is easy to learn and operate.
Drawbacks:
In present time, assets are moving continuously from one location to another and also given to customer / vendor. But there is not a single report which gives you the real time assets location. For example if you have issued unit form X location to customer Y and after that if you check the assets location in software, it will show the location as X which is wrong.
In sum:
We are facing challenge over control of assets movement (Demo Assets) but with Tracet we are unable to control it completely due to lack of proper reporting tool.

Drawbacks:
I have been using Tracet from past 6 to 7 months to run the depreciation but in that too from past 4 months we are unable to get the reports in excel same query has already Flag to Tracet team along with calls and System access but till date we haven't received the solution from them.

Features are comprehensive and well connected. Graphic representation is good. Compatibility with external hardware is useful.
Drawbacks:
Should be able to release purchase orders, work orders etc. Database upgradation should be simplified.

Nothing anything like about this FA software as this software not implemented by provided tracet as per our basic requirements.
Drawbacks:
This FA software needs lots of improvement, as their is no modification/basic changes allowed in software as per Companies Act / Income Tax Act for uploading FA details.
In sum:
Very bad experience as support team not done proper job, they left initial uploading data of FA software in half way.
