In sum:

I selected Hotelinco after trying at least 12 other solutions, this seemed to me the best quality/price ratio, very simple to use, it made our job very easy. We are waiting for new functionalities that are indispensable for us.

Easy to use Cloud base!! It works on any kind of device with Internet (including Linux!) There is no one hour "end of day" procedure like we used to experience with traditional software Search option Custom reports Multi-property, even we did not used it, i think it is very helpful if you can share guests profiles with another hotel in same company Easy to setup

Drawbacks:

I cannot change user password When using on touch screen (which we have in our reception) room plan can get mixed up if you want to scroll with finger One big con is that there are no company profiles. So you have to use regular profiles and change surname to company name. Which is problem because we cannot get statistical information about any company and their spending's on hotel. Therefore you can only guess how many reservations did one company made. Which is for Business hotel, like ours, very bad. Actually that was reason why many our friends did not want to try hotelinco. Also company statistics will help in accounting. There is no option to charge each day differently. Example, we have weekend discount, and if guest stays one week, I have to calculate how much will be average price for one day. And that is still not problem, but when guest want to extend or shorten reservation, you have to recalculate it again. And off course, if stuff forget to recalculate average price, we loose money. I know that there is way to change prices manually for each day, but that is not displayed on reservation and it cannot be edited for each reservation. In our case, weekend discount applies only for individuals. Corporate guests have their own price which is fixed depending on contract. When making reservation manually (not over room plan) when choosing available room for guest, on drop-down menu all rooms appeared, even one that is already occupied, and rooms which are different

In sum:

I really like the idea about Hotelinco, it helped us to train our stuff in few days. Usually it takes 3 weeks to learn basics of Oracle Opera. And if time is money, we did not lost that much on each employee. Cloud helped us to stay in touch with hotel even if we are abroad. To be honest, great project, but it is not don yet. There are many essential things to upgrade. But as I know we are only city-hotel that uses hotelinco, so we probably have different demands than others. plus one more con that I have forget to say; I really like Slovenia and Slovenian language, but it is very confusing when we are using English language. Some things are partially English and partially Slovenian. It is OK for stuff, but when we print invoice (example) it says "Boravina pristojbina" instead of "Boravina pristojba" or "city tax" and we cannot change that. I have tried to change Item name, but it doesn't help. And all news, updates (...etc) comes in Slovenian. Please force English. If your customers work in hotel or hospitality industry, they have to know English. Overall I am happy to work with Hotelinco even it has some flaws, but I believe in this project. It might become no.1 software for family or independent hotels. Stay strong!
