Out dated client interface. Not user friendly. Little or no support. 3rd Party mobile software superior to desktop version. Been asking when to expect update module but cannot get answer.

In sum:

We have been clients of Vadim Software for a period of 14 years. We can count on the accuracy of the reports we produce to balance our departments. ex. taxes aged trial balances-water & sewer trial balances. The programs are easy of use and new personnel can be trained on line by webinar or by in house training. Many programs are available to facilitate the indexation of complicated spreadsheets and calculations like the municipal drain program. When an error occurs and we are not sure how to correct, customer support are fast in answering our request. I like working with Vadim Software and I would recommend it.

Benefits:

Navigation between any department is consistent and easy. Ideas and issues are taken into consideration and there is a great community of people to provide support. Program offers everything a municipality would need.

Drawbacks:

My cons are with the new updates only. I don't like the way the new update is for someone who works with multiple screens and departments throughout the day, you either have to have several open, or have to have your screen titles or numbers memorized (just a slower process). I also personally don't like that when you open a screen you have to actually click it before beginning (like to be mouseless).

In sum:

Overall Vadim meets our needs. The newest versions take a bit to get adjusted to. I do feel there are still some adjustments that need to be made as each user from other municipalities may not operate the same. I do however love the Vadim support teams they are always helpful and willing to take feedback to the developers.

Benefits:

Integration of all the modules - no need for third-party add-on products. The new web based components are intuitive for new users. Strong report building tools.

Drawbacks:

Support has been pushed to the web over the last year. More efficient for the company but it does impact the user experience - less personal contact with support team.

Benefits:

Pros are few and far between these days. Works for what we need it for when it works. Trainers are very knowledgeable.

Drawbacks:

Very poor support, turn around time on support requests is 2-90 days. Extremely temperamental software needing constant maintenance and support. Lots of "Bugs in the system" that is being worked on. Integration with other systems is limited. Implementation is tricky. All training is charged for and expensive.
