SimilarWeb PRO delivers a lot of useful data you can use to analyse your competitors' performance or even verify some site you would use for promotion. SimilarWeb PRO helped us save money - otherwise we could have burnt it on campaigns which are far away from being effective.
Drawbacks:
Pricing, pricing, pricing. However, take it as an investment (as it unlocks a lot of data for you) or try the free, limited version.

Drawbacks:
Pro version is too expensive for small companies or freelancers, although you can always negotiate a cheaper price.

is costly to upgrade to the paid version where the free version gives you a taste of the offering. not every website is tracked.

It has a very easy to use and user friendly UI when compared to it's competitors The free version was a good gateway to sway me to get a pro version and it wasn't disappointing.
Drawbacks:
Not as much data as provided by other analysis tool when it comes to SEO
In sum:
Overall I'd still recommend this product and prefer this over other tools in the market. It is great for beginners too with it's easy-to-use UI

Can be used in many different ways. Cross functional capabilities that can be leveraged by marketing, brand, strategy, etc.
Drawbacks:
The learning curve is fairly significant with this product since it is so advanced. To learn on your own is a challenge, you really only understand the tip of the iceberg.
In sum:
Overall, our experience has been great. The tool allows us to learn this about our businesses that we would have to commit lots of time and money into learning ourselves if we were without this tool.

The competitive insights we get through SimilarWeb Pro are a key part of our benchmarking and optimization strategies. The paid search overview and the domain overview are very insightful.
Drawbacks:
Customer support is pretty bad - a rep didn't show to my scheduled call, reply to my email, answer my chat in platform, or answer my support inquiry form. Other con would be lack of audience insights/analysis for the Digital Marketing Intelligence Solution.
In sum:
I will continue to use SimilarWeb Pro despite lack of customer service. I would recommend to others but warn them of the customer service.

Different levels of reporting for a number of 3rd party sites that we aim to partner with. The free version was solid enough to upgrade to Pro. Love the different channel reporting they offer!
Drawbacks:
Some of the metrics included do not seem too accurate, but they are good enough to provide a ballpark range.
In sum:
Overall, we use SimilarWeb to try and gain a sense of what other partner sites do in terms of qualified traffic that can be sent our way for sales.

Drawbacks:
The Pricing, is really expensive. Have a bug on the registration if you use a geo domain cannot register (.com.ar) that is really anoying

I love that you can check the traffic (even see where it comes from), compare the performance to others and see the increase/decrease for traffic. Also, other marketing related information is available for each website.
Drawbacks:
It can only give information about very popular websites. No information for smaller businesses/websites.
In sum:
Overall is great but I would like to get information for as many websites as possible, not only for the big ones.
