Beside application like AdBlock, Adguard has better features and it makes better my navigation experience on any browser. Now we are secure and providing better service to all our users and daily use internet and some time click on some sites they shouldn't. With Adguard I'm not worried about malware or that any annoying publicity appears on users PC from nowhere. I will strongly recommend this program to improve your navigation experience on a safety matter.

Some sites are not allowed to browse when Adguard is used. ex: Crichd site Also, there are some bugs working when starting the applications and therefore it has to take some steps to overcome that problem now what we are doing is refreshing the page.

Summary:

Overall this is quite good to use for making the internet browsing very easy without interrupting the normal procedure.

Initially, I was unable to attribute this to this program, but after a number of instances, it became apparent that Adguard was at fault. Another problem is that it actually blocks certain sites from being functional. These are sites that provide a number of sub-sites that should not have been blocked. A whitelisting feature could probably eliminate this flaw, but this doe not appear to be available from Adguard.

AdGuard does a great job of protecting you on three fronts: blocking most ads (popups and embedded ads), most trackers and most malicious websites. It manages to do this in a much more unobtrusive way than many other similar apps, programs and browser extensions I've tried. It's drop-dead easy to add exceptions, and easy to turn it off temporarily if you run into a specific issue on a site you trust.

I think I took a chance on AdGuard as an app in one of those "bundle" deals you stumble into all the time these days, and I'm so glad I did. It's proven to be an "all-in" app that I use every day.

It's relatively easy to use. I say "relatively" in that the UX is not particularly good but our main criterion for using it is that we can get senior developers to use it when deploying application updates across clusters rather than putting the burden on systems staff.

Drawbacks:

It's overpriced, buggy and not particularly well engineered. The APIs are poorly constructed and do not scale well when monitored.

We had previously used a number of entirely systems-based load balancing systems and it was proving difficult to manage and coordinate application updates for clients. We needed something that would have some sort of management interface to reduce the possibility of errors and to make it more accessible to other team members. We'd tried the community version and while it was far from perfect did at least arrange things in a reasonably logical manner. The cost of the application was excessive but as the developers are clearly a small company this would be more favourable than a larger company for whom we'd be way down their list of priorities. To our horror, when we were approached after purchasing several licenses for the product if we had any questions, we asked about a migration path from the community version. They immediately refused and said they would only be able to help if we bought a separate support contract. They have made the business practises very clear. We won't be giving them any more money and at some point when a better product materialises, we'll go for that. For now we are using the product and manually fixing issues within their code (which is mostly Perl-based). This is still better than managing it all by hand, but far from ideal given how much we've paid for what is supposed to be an enterprise solution. Our advice would be to think extremely carefully before committing any budget to this.
