First the price is actually affordable compared to other similar softeares. Next, you can make your experience as complex or as simple as you like. The interface can be adjusted so the tools, adjustments, and features you use the most are the first at hand. Finally there us very little you can't do compared to pricier solutions.

It can be slow, not throw things at the screen slow, but noticeable. You must take time to learn the interface, it's fairly intuitive but there are occasional things that might not work as expected. For example, undo buttons may undo a group of actions not just the last one. I've had a couple of hiccups, but the latest release is quite stable. And then there's the subscription model, while not "pricy" it's different and needs getting used too.

Learning advanced photo manipulation with Zoner allowed me to learn what and how at the same time. I had been using a "pre-installed" solution that center on canned adjustments. It worked but as I started looking publicly available photos I couldn't get what I wanted from the simple program. I've used Zoner for several years and it allowed me to develop the level of creativity that I enjoy today.

Benefits:

Easy to navigate through the Tabs/Modules. Reasonably priced

Drawbacks:

The current offering only includes the option of an annual subscription. I would like to see a lifetime option.

I have been using Zone since version 15. I use it daily for editing my photos. I don't find it as complicated to use as some other software. It is packed with features; reasonably priced and is a great value. I am looking to continue using it in the future.
