Benefits:

in general, as a planning engineer am looking for everything new in this field, in order to best monitoring and control the projects, with a plan hammer I like the idea but I don't like how this software generates that idea.

Drawbacks:

it is very difficult to use, where I think any project team went use this schedule that must get advanced training by a specialized person in order to find sufficient result with using this software

In sum:

great bifient for the project manager and team when using this software, where can control and track the project from start to end , bur, first of all, must all team get the best training before start

Benefits:

The graphical interface is simple but very representative especially when establishing hierarchies of the different groups of activities in each project. It is extremely easy to be able to reorganize the activities and show the changes in the different types of views. The part of notifications is very useful to know when a resource makes a change in a project or edit the status of a specific activity.

Drawbacks:

The only drawback is that it lacks configurations or hierarchy of users and can not be managed in a confidential manner is a matter of managing costs and times.

Benefits:

Being able to get to different reports - agile, swimlane, gantt, RACL etc all from one single task level entry.

Drawbacks:

I paid for it beyond the trial to make sure it was not a freebie I was having basic expectations with. 1. Basic filtering capabilities dont work. You get all your data setup and then not being able to filter - as simple as a label filter had errors. We reported these to support but never got a response either. 2. There is so much lag in the data load as you move from one task to another. Sometimes the fields will show adta from previous rows. After filtering rows, the fields would show data from other rows. It was just too buggy and frustrating to realize this after having gone through the effort of logging details at task level. It just did not work for us. Great features but really poor quality - created more confusion than anything else.

In sum:

It just did not work for us and I dont see this working unless the quality issues around data retrieval and basic filtering are removed. Great features but really poor qualityand performance (UI refresh speed) - created more confusion than anything else.

Benefits:

This software is great. It hits all the right areas for a PM software. It has the WBS in a list of graphic view. It has the Gantt view . It helps you all along the way with hints and tips. It has all the basic task tracking features. I think this is once of the beast PM software available.

Drawbacks:

I would like the ability to edit the WBS a bit more It is nice and easy to use but it would be nice to be able to arrange the boxes in some different ways. As of now it puts the boxes in for you but to be able to drag and drop boxes would help.

In sum:

This is a top of the line Project Management Software that hits all the important areas including WBS and Gantt.

Benefits:

I liked that it seemed easy to use and I could initiate a free trial quickly

Drawbacks:

That it deleted my WBS after an hour of working on it with a deadline approaching

In sum:

Destroyed my work and caused me a lot of trouble / extra work
