Gain is an amazing tool for drafting and scheduling social media posts, and for clients and team members to approve or request revisions. It's very user friendly.

Drawbacks:

When scheduling for Instagram, you have to manually go into an app to post to Instagram since Gain doesn't post there automatically.

Every now and then bits of the tool break. The most recent has caused major problems for us and the clients but seem to be a low priority for the GAIN team. For example, in this case, posts are not displaying properly on LinkedIn. We get these issues aren't always in GAIN's control but would appreciate more urgency and communication around the problem.

Gain is easy to use and easy to connect channels. We use it daily to schedule social posts for clients and I like that we can separate each one so that nothing gets mixed. Be aware that there aren't any analytics available, this is just a scheduler and approval workflows.

Benefits:

huge growth early on which helped me grow to ober 20k followers

Instagram changes its algorithms too often which stunts software

Socialstud.io was extremely effective at getting us new followers. WE did have some difficulties with our account being blocked. I am not sure if it was from socialstud.io or not we have brought a lot of influencers and other posts on at same time but when i reached out to Social stud.io they were never able to completely answer all my questions. i think phone support would have helped a lot I could have set up a conference call with my social media manager and our account manager to figure out a strategy. Without that support i felt like I had to suspend the service

Drawbacks:

Your account will be blocked from time to time doing any action (liking photos, comments). Your followers will not grow as fast as advertised.

Just okay. Followers will grow, but as much as you are lead on to believe. Needing to provide security check in approvals is a pain, especially since you are not notified by SocialStud.io so you need to check if it was them or a hacker. The blocking of actions is really a disappointment.

I will be honest im not very active on my Instagram so far. But even though I am only just getting started Social Studio has helped me and I have now got 45 followers in just two weeks. I bought the package that advised I would get approx 100 followers a month and this goal feels very realistic and achievable.

My biggest problem was just getting my Instagram off the ground. I would get about 6 likes per post. Now it's only been two weeks and I'm getting 20 likes and it's keeping me motivated that I can really make this successful.
