Benefits:
Love the options for pulling in items to your feed especially that location tags are available. The online embed options are well designed, great looking, and easy to customize. The curation queue is easy to use. Overall, we are very happy with Sparkle!
Drawbacks:
Somewhat limited designs available for broadcasting your social stream, needs some refinement especially in transitions. But for the price, it is remarkable. Initially we were nervous about customer support, as they are based in Europe, but they have been very responsive to all our questions and needs.
In sum:
We needed to find a way to broadcast social media posts during athletic events and graduation, as well as embed tagged social media on our website Sparkle does both with aplomb for a price that my institution can afford.

Benefits:
Ease of use and the ability to moderate the posts. Also to be able to pre-select words that have to be in each post in order to be displayed.
Drawbacks:
No language configuration and not being able to give a "Role" to the people you choose to share the moderation with.

Benefits:
I really liked Sparkle because it offered various attractive built-in display modes, but was also highly customizable to our needs. The possibility to monitor some feeds before publication and to have the content of other feeds automatically published was also an asset for us. Customer service and support were excellent.
Drawbacks:
I had difficulty using some features with Firefox (they worked in Chrome).
