TruckWin handles all of our accounting needs, Dispatch, Billing, Payroll, A/R, A/P, G/L, Lessor trucks, Fuel Tax and Truck & Trailer Maintenance. It is very user friendly and I know this, as a fellow employee and I bought and initiated the program from ground zero, back in January 1999 and we are still using it, seamlessly today, 12 years later. We did take advantage of some online training to help us get a jump start on the setup, but the majority of the install was so easy and user friendly, we just took the ball and ran with it. We needed a special report, which TruckWin did not have, relating to our industry in petroleum transportation, to collect various data from billing. So I requested the report, paid a nominal fee for programming and within a few days the report was finished. This saved us many hours of work, which in turn saved us money.
Drawbacks:
When we void a payroll check, it would be nice if the loads went back into the drivers payroll loads to pay.

I highly recommend purchasing Truckwin software. It is a great value with a complete set of modules for every need to effectively run and maintain a transportation company. I have of course had a few sales calls on other Trucking software, and I did review their software. But if I had to do it all over again today, I would go with TruckWin. Yes we have had a few self inflicted errors/bugs and a few from TruckWin, but the IT department has always quickly and effectively addressed and resolved every one of them in a very timely manner.
